My love affair with Tiffany blue…

Since it’s no secret that my favorite color is pink, you may wonder what is the meaning behind my Tiffany blue logo. People who know me well know that I love everything girly, so when I became pregnant back in 2014, I wished upon a star for a baby girl. However, God had other plans for me (and I thank Him every day for that!) as he has given me the sweetest, most adorable baby boy. My almost-three-year old boy is my world, my everything, and my biggest inspiration and drive in life. When it was time to plan my baby shower, I chose the next best thing to pink: Tiffany blue color. Ever since then, I have been obsessing over it!

There is really no color quite like the gorgeous Tiffany blue. Both the color and the animal (baby wolf) in my logo is symbolic of my boy Vuk, a Slavic name which literally translates to wolf in English. The golden heart in the logo is also symbolic of my little man, as he has the kindest and most loving soul I have ever met in my life.

Since my baby shower was the first, but definitely not the last time I have used the Tiffany blue color for decorating, I wanted to share with you few of my favorite highlights from the shower, organized by my sister. Besides using the Tiffany blue color, the whole theme of my shower was Tiffany’s.

I absolutely loved this beautiful set up with the belly cake; it was the first thing that guests saw when they entered the room. How cute is this cake with the little baby foot poking through mommy’s belly?Tiffany & co baby showerbaby boy shower Tiffany blue

This banner with my boy’s name was a DIY project that I did (I used the paper I bought at Michaels).

You can buy the small Tiffany’s favor boxes and the glossy paper bags at Party City (pictured below). FYI: if you try to search for these favor boxes on the store’s website, Tiffany blue color is called Robin’s egg blue. The bigger Tiffany’s box (partially pictured below) was another DIY project that I did; I bought a plain white box, colored it with the Americana Sea Breeze Acrylic Paint and added a white bow. I kept the box, and now I display it on a shelf in my closet. For the three goodie bags, I simply added a glitter baby wolf by using Mod Podge and gold glitter.goodie bags Tiffany'sDIY favors gold aqua

Where there’s a baby shower, there’s always a diaper cake and mine was so cute and amazing! It was a surprise from my wonderful friend, and I kept it for many months after as a decor piece in my baby boy’s room.
